How to get there?
The Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg has been voted one of the best airports in Germany. Frequent fliers value the fast processing, the short distances and the good connection to the city centre and to the exhibition centre. From the UK you can fly direct from Stanstead (Ryanair) or London City Airport (BA/Air France).
The London city route is recommended for its excellent networking opportunity, the day before the conference starts it tends to be entirely filled by conference go-ers.
If you’re flying from Heathrow, you might want to consider a flight to Munich or Frankfurt and then catching a connecting train. The fast cross country ICE will get you to Nuremberg Central Station in about two hours from either city.
Hotels in Nuremberg get exceptionally busy at conference time, so it’s worth considering air bnb if you’e looking for somewhere to stay.
Embedded World is held in the Nuremberg exhibition centre, which is about 25 minutes from the airport and 8 minutes from the central train station or Hauptbahnhof. You can reach the exhibition centre quickly and easily by public transport. The “Messe” stop on the U1 underground line is directly opposite the Mitte entrance of the exhibition centre.
From the Central Station, take the U1 towards Langwasser-Süd. From the airport, take the U2 towards Röthenbach and change to the U1 towards Langwasser-Süd at the Central Station.
